In recovery, privacy isn't a feature — it's safety. Shame keeps people from getting help, so we engineered FREE HEART to know as little about you as possible.

The people you'd call in a weak moment — your mentor, your pastor — are stored only on your device, in encrypted secure storage. They are never uploaded to our servers. We couldn't leak them if we tried, because we never have them.
No free-text journals. No typed confessions stored on our servers. Your daily reflections are saved as simple categories (like your mood) — never as sentences that could identify your story.
Most apps measure everything by default. FREE HEART ships with analytics and crash reporting disabled — nothing is sent unless you turn them on in Settings, and you can turn them off again anytime. Even when enabled, events never include your name, email, or the battle you're fighting.
There are no advertisements in FREE HEART and never will be. We don't touch advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID), we don't build behavioral profiles, and your data is not for sale — at any price, to anyone.
Face ID / PIN app lock keeps your progress private on your own device, and optional two-factor authentication protects your account. Sensitive tokens live in your device's secure enclave storage.
Delete your account from Settings inside the app, or from our web form — no emails to write, no hoops to jump through. Your data is removed from our active systems immediately.
No third-party trackers, no advertising pixels, no cookie banners needed — because there's nothing to consent to. What you read here stays here.
Apps in this category hold the most sensitive thing a person owns: the battle they haven't told anyone about. Data leaks in this space don't just expose emails — they expose souls. FREE HEART is designed so that the most private parts of your journey either never leave your device or never exist as data at all. The safest data is the data we never collect.
Under Washington's My Health My Data Act, information about your recovery may be considered consumer health data. FREE HEART does not sell consumer health data and does not share it for advertising. You may exercise your rights — access, withdrawal of consent, and deletion — as described in our Privacy Policy, or by emailing support@freeheart.app.
